I thought you would be interested to know about a new "video to flash" tool "vid2flash". It easily converts .avi, .mov, and .mpeg and most image formats into .swf format for the web.

vid2flash Version 1.0 is a Windows utility which allows you to convert video movies into the ubiquitous Macromedia® Flash™ (SWF) files. This process allows an end user to display the resulting video in a browser or import the file into Macromedia® Flash Studio™ for further editing.

Perfect for putting video in banner ads, mobile devices, and motions picture previews for the web.

With Flash™ installed on 96% of the world's browsers, this virtually guarantees an end user the ability to display video on their web site.

You can get a free trial here:
http://www.javakitty.com/vid2flash/vid2flash_zip.exe

Javakitty Media is releasing a free "trial" version of vid2flash and a full working "beta" for $25.00. Both can be obtained from our website:

Hello, My name is India Warren and I'm a senior at David W.Butler High School in Charlotte, North Carolina and I'm working on a major project in order to graduate from high school. The topic of my project is on an African American artist. I'm conducting a survey to prove that he is one of the worlds greatest African American artist in today's society. Please take a couple of minutes to answer the following questions:
1)Do you know of the African-American artist, John Biggers? If so, please briefly explain what you know about him.

2)Does your art gallery contain any of John Biggers artwork? If so, please name a few of his pieces.

3)Do you understand the meaning of John Biggers artwork?

4)Briefly explain your knowledge of his artwork.

--------------------------------------------------

When finished, please name your art gallery and it's location. Thank you for taking the time out to answer these questions. Have a nice day!

I'm trying to set up a web page with the sound of rain in the background without resorting to plug-ins. Is there any way it can be done using a small wav file?
At the moment there's a perceptible pause between each repetition. I've put it on the Internet using a plug-in but I'm not thrilled with it. Any gurus out there?
Site is:

I am the president of the art club at Dowling College, New York, and we are going to start an online art gallery. I was wondering if you could tell me the best way to do that, and perhaps the cheapest way to start it. My E-Mail is

Thanks,

Larry,

Take a look at Matt's Script Archive at http://www.worldwidemart.com/scripts/ . That's where we got the script used to run all the pieces in the Counters Exhibit.

Here's another good source of scripts: http://www.cgi-resources.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/

You should be able to find something simple that will suit your needs at one of the above sites.

Good luck!

Dear Amy Stone,
I have been very impressed with your Window of Time. I would like to do something like that for our website : www.rama9art.org
on the Bangkok page. I would like to send the Bangkok time and change the view of the Grand Palace according to the appropriate time. I have been unable to get someone here to do so. Any advise from you would be greatly appreciated. Please do visit our site: www.rama9art.org
Any other reccommendations would also be received with thanks.
Best regards, Sivaporn Dardarananda
